The Concierge Checkup
An hour on site, then a sit-down with the owner of Netcetera, not a salesperson, to walk through where your business stands and what to fix first. The findings are yours to keep whether or not you ever work with us.
What we check
- Network and computers: an internal and external vulnerability scan for missing patches, exposed services and outdated systems
- Email and Microsoft 365: multi-factor authentication, admin accounts, sharing settings and common misconfigurations
- Endpoint protection: whether every computer is protected and monitored
- Backups: what's backed up, where it goes, and whether anyone has tested a restore
- Access: shared passwords, former employees' accounts, and who can reach client or patient data
- Compliance and insurance readiness: the safeguards that HIPAA, the FTC Safeguards Rule and cyber insurers ask about most
What you get
A short, visual report and a sit-down review with your office manager and an owner or partner. We cover the 3 to 5 findings that matter most, what each could cost you, and the order to fix them in.
The Checkup is a focused review, not a full HIPAA security risk analysis. If you need a complete, documented risk analysis, we can scope one after the Checkup.
Why it's called a Concierge Checkup
Most free assessments are a scan and a sales pitch. This one is built the way we work every day: personal, thorough and in plain language.
The owner delivers it
Thomas Misinco, who has run Netcetera since 2005, reviews every finding with you in person. You get experience, not a script.
Measured against your requirements
Findings are checked against what applies to you: HIPAA, the FTC Safeguards Rule, and the controls your cyber insurer asks about.
Ranked by what it could cost you
No 40-page printout. Three to five priorities, in order, with what each one puts at risk and what fixing it involves.
Common questions
Is it really free?
Yes. There's no cost and no obligation. We offer it because it's the best way for you to see how we work.
Will it disrupt the office?
No. Scans run in the background, and we'll only need a few minutes with whoever manages your systems.
Will you access client or patient data?
No. The Checkup looks at configurations and vulnerabilities, not client files or patient records. We sign a business associate agreement on request.
We already have an IT provider.
That's common. A second set of eyes is useful before an insurance renewal or audit, and we'll never criticize your current provider's work to your staff.
